Darren is a versatile showrunner with expertise in the digital, television, and social worlds. Often referred to as a “unicorn” by production companies and brands alike, Darren has the unique ability to oversee the creative as a head writer/lead creative producer and also manage a production with an eye towards efficiency. He takes a holistic view to creating/producing content, making sure to always optimize viewership and quality for multiple platforms and key demographics.

He began his career as a writer, so he has the ability to wear multiple hats and see the big picture while still putting the creative first. He has extensive experience developing formats for – and with – influencers, digital companies, production companies, networks, brands, and celebrity talent. He has launched several successful first-year shows, podcasts, and YouTube channels.

His bread and butter has been talk shows, game shows, topical daily & weekly shows, clip shows, and anything that falls under the unique banner of “unscripted” comedy.

He has guided influencers, digital companies, and brands to improve production quality and increase their reach/revenue. He has worked with many production companies and networks who are new to the world of comedy or new to studio formats.

He has a wealth of experience working with A-list talent from the entertainment, comedy, influencer, business, and sports worlds, and has also guided many hosts through their first time in a new role to make them look like polished veterans.
